SolarEdge Energy Hub SE3800H-US Single Phase Inverter with Prism Technology

In June 2020, SolarEdge released the newest edition of their product line, the Energy Hub Inverter with Prism Technology. The Energy Hub is an energy-backup inverter that functions similar to a conventional string inverter but is battery-compatible.

This means that the user can save unused solar energy during the day for later (i.e., the nighttime). Without energy storage, solar energy goes to waste if it’s unused at the time of production – the energy either gets sent back to the grid where the user may get little to no credits.

Designed for use with SolarEdge Power Optimizers for the most efficient grid-tie inverter solar system available. We carry the latest SE3800H-US UL1741, UL1699B, certified inverters with ground-fault isolation detection and interruption compliance.

The SolarEdge HD Wave inverters use a unique power conversion technology that is based on a distributed switching and powerful DSP processing platform. HD-Wave technology is able to synthesize a clean sine wave that leads to a dramatic reduction in the magnetics and heavy cooling elements.

This small and lightweight inverter enables simplified shipping, storing and one-person installation. The record-breaking efficiency allows more energy production for residential grid-tie solar systems.
